I’m Jordan Limperis, an AI engineer and data scientist working in healthcare. I’m currently Director of Data Science at R1 RCM, where data science meets a $31B revenue cycle. Before that I spent three years at L.A. Care Health Plan, the largest publicly operated health plan in the U.S., rising from Data Scientist II to Applied AI Scientist III while owning production ML end to end.

My work tends to share a shape: a messy real-world problem, a model that has to survive contact with production, and a number a decision-maker can trust. I trained at Cornell (neuroscience) and Georgia Southern (M.S. Computer Science, summa cum laude, 4.0), where I co-authored two peer-reviewed transformer papers (see Research). I like the boring parts, evaluation, pipelines, monitoring, because that’s what makes the interesting parts real.
